What is kebab-case?
Lowercase words joined by hyphens, like main-nav or user-profile. It is standard for CSS class names, HTML attributes, npm package names and URLs.
Is kebab-case the same as a URL slug?
Close. A slug also strips accents, punctuation and emoji; our Slugify tool does that.
Why is it called kebab-case?
The words look like pieces on a skewer. It is also known as dash-case or lisp-case.
