What is camelCase?

Words joined without spaces, with every word after the first starting with a capital: firstName, totalPrice. It is the usual style for JavaScript and Java variables and functions.

What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?

PascalCase also capitalises the first word (FirstName). It is typical for class and component names.

How are acronyms handled?

Runs of capitals are treated as one word, so "XML HTTP request" and "XMLHttpRequest" both become xmlHttpRequest.
