Questions
What does keyword density mean?
The share of all words that are a given word: 5 uses in 500 words is 1%. Search engines do not reward a target density, so use it to spot accidental repetition rather than to stuff keywords.
Which words are ignored as common words?
About 90 of the most frequent English function words, such as articles, pronouns, prepositions and forms of "be" and "have". Turn the filter off to see them.
Are "Cat" and "cat" counted together?
Yes. Words are lower-cased and stripped of surrounding punctuation before counting, so "Cat," and "cat" are the same entry.
